Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka Celebrates 44th Anniversary
Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL) proudly celebrated its 44th Anniversary on 4th March 2026 at the Head Office premises, marking another important milestone in the Bank’s long-standing journey of serving customers across Sri Lanka.
The anniversary celebration at the Head Office included a ceremonial cake-cutting event, attended by Mr. Anura Perera (Chairman), Mr. Dammika Hapuhinna (Chief Executive Officer), Mr. Eranga Karunarathne (Chief Operating Officer), along with members of the Corporate Management and staff.
The occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on the Bank’s achievements over the past four decades and its continued commitment to delivering reliable and innovative financial solutions to customers.
In conjunction with the anniversary celebrations, the Bank also organized a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in collaboration with the National Blood Bank, Narahenpita, further demonstrating MBSL’s commitment to community wellbeing.
The anniversary celebrations were successfully concluded, reaffirming MBSL’s dedication to excellence, customer service, and sustainable growth. As the Bank moves forward, it remains committed to serving its valued customers and strengthening its role in the Sri Lankan financial sector.
