MBSL PAY MASTERS REWARD
SCHEME - LESSEES
• MBSL the country’s pioneer merchant bank introduced this scheme in
June 2002.
• Its objective is to reward lessees who are punctual in rental-
payments
• Under this scheme winners are picked monthly.
• Prizes awarded range from LKR 20,000/- TO LKR 10,000/- |

• A Grand Draw was held in December 2002.
• Its prizes ranged from LKR 30,000/- to LKR. 15,000/-
• What is unique in this scheme is that instead of granting
concessions to defaulters the MBSL rewards the paymasters.
• The MBSL has decided to continue with this scheme as a gesture of
appreciating |
CONSULTATIONS FOR NATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY AWARDS

With a view to revitalising the national productivity
improvement activities more vigorously the Ministry of
Employment & Labour, organised the National Productivity Awards
2002; the Inter- Ministerial Productivity Award 2002 and the
School Productivity Award 2002.

• The MBSL was selected by the Ministry to assist the National
Productivity Secretariat to organise this intricate activity by
providing the consultancy - inputs as the bank has earned the
reputation of possessing the required know-how, competence,
experience and the human resource base to successfully handle
such a specialist task.
• The National Productivity Awards - 2002, held at the BMICH on 10th
February 2003, was considered as a grand finale unparalleled in the
history of such ceremonies in the country.
• The Awards ceremony was an ‘epitome’ of quality and productivity.
• The MBSL once again proved its metal by fulfilling its obligations
to perfection.

RE-LAUNCHING OF THE MBSL WEBSITE
• Web site is now the easiest means to access information
• The MBSL being fully aware of this advantage, has re-launched its
Web site to provide direct - concise information deemed relevant to
those interested in the affairs of the Bank.
• The Bank’s newly activated Web site will now onwards act as a
‘window’ to provide the current and updated information of the MBSL,
of course within permissible limits.
• You are, therefore, encouraged to access us as and when your time
permits.
